M.S. in Intelligent Robotics
The Master of Science in Computer Science (Intelligent Robotics) educates students on the design, construction, operation, and application of robots, as well as computer systems for their control, sensory feedback, and information processing. Students may include in their programs research for an optional master’s thesis conducted in collaboration with industry.USC offers the following robotics courses:
- AME 548: Analytical Methods in Robotics
- AME 556: Robot Dynamics and Control
- CSCI 445: Introduction to Robotics
- CSCI 545: Robotics
- CSCI 547: Robot Dynamics and Control
- CSCI 641: Computational Human-Robot Interaction
- CSCI 646: Coordinated Mobile Robotics
- CSCI 649: Haptic Interfaces and Virtual Environments
Ph.D. Programs
We are currently developing a Ph.D. program in Robotics, updating the existing M.S. in Intelligent Robotics, and creating a certificate program in Robotics. Updates will follow. Until then, Ph.D. students in robotics are pursuing degrees in their home departments in the Viterbi School.
