At USC, we have robotics faculty, students, and researchers who work across a broad spectrum of fields intersecting with robotics, such as language, vision, planning, neuroscience, and learning. Currently, the Robotics and Autonomous Systems Center (RASC) has 18 faculty and 17 affiliated faculty across various departments who are pushing robotics forward across all these disciplines. These faculty, and their students, publish their latest findings at academic venues for robotics. As a step towards disseminating this research to a broader audience, we are launching the Robotics Blog.
This new platform will offer a deeper dive into the robotics research taking place at USC. From faculty and student projects to new tools for roboticists, we hope to use this blog as a means to highlight the latest advancements and for readers to explore the technical aspects of robotics without being overwhelming. Our goal is to share the potential of this rapidly evolving field with a broader audience and to enable USC researchers to reach audiences beyond those at academic venues.
Our inaugural robotics blogpost talks about how LLMs can help robots adapt to solving tasks in new and unfamiliar settings. Check this blog to stay informed about the latest robotics news and innovations from USC! Feel free to contact the editors to learn more about the blog.
