The Ascending Technologies Hummingbird is a quadrotor designed for highly dynamic and risky flight maneuvers. It is an ideal system for flight experiments. We use the Hummingbird indoors, in our flight testing facility. Each hummingbird has an Inertial Measurement Unit, and two microprocessors, and is capable of doing computations onboard.
