Quori is a humanoid mobile robot designed by a collaborative team at U Penn and USC, with support from the National Science Foundation; here is the project page. Quori was designed by engaging the computing research community in multiple workshops and surveys. Quori stands about 4 feet tall. The robot’s drivetrain is nonholonomic, but can emulate holonomic movement by rotating about its base. It has two DOFs in each arm and a DOF in the waist to enable bowing. Quori also has lidar, a 3D camera, and a back-projected face.
